Announcing Warpstock Europe 2005

Warpstock Europe 2005, the annual event for OS/2 and eComStation users in Europe, will take place in the city of Dresden, Germany. The three day event will be held from November 18th to 20th at the Leibniz Institute for Solid State and Materials Research Dresden (IFW).

Warpstock Europe is the event for all users of the OS/2 or eComStation operating system. If you are interested in OS/2 or eComStation, its current development and future enhancement you should attend Warpstock Europe 2005. Come and join us in Dresden to learn more about OS/2 applications and development projects, ask questions or simply enjoy chatting with other users.

This years Warpstock Europe is organized by the OS/2 User Group Dresden and other dedicated people that will make sure you can enjoy your stay in Dresden. While this is the first public announcement of Warpstock Europe 2005, we have already been working behind the scenes to find a suitable location for the event.
The sessions of this years Warpstock Europe will be help in lecture rooms of the IFW Dresden. We are grateful for the ability to use the modern facilities of this research institute.
The IFW Dresden is devoted to fundamental and applied research and development, with particular emphasis on the fields of solid state and materials research. The research program focuses on functional materials, both in bulk and thin films. In an interdisciplinary approach it combines fundamental research in physics, chemistry and material science with the specific needs of technological application.

The Warpstock Europe event team would also like to point you to the other Warpstock conferences this year. For OS/2 and eComStation users around the world and especially in North America there will be Warpstock 2005. The location selected for 2005 is Hershey, Pennsylvania, and the conference will be held from October 6th to 9th. OS/2 and eComStation users in the Czech Republic, Poland and Slovakia should not miss Warpstock CZ 2005. The event is organized by the Czech OS/2 User Group and will be held in Liberec from July 15th to 17th.
In addition to the Warpstock conferences there will also be a developer oriented event, the OS/2 and eComStation Developers Workshop 2005. The Workshop will also be held in Dresden, on July 9th and 10th 2005.
