eRedMan Version 0.9.1

July 04, 2007 by Herwig Bauernfeind

eRedMan is a general pipe redirection utility (like printmon.exe or print2ps.cmd that comes with ePDF). Its equivalent in the Windows world is RedMon.

eRedMan is able to monitor multiple pipes and associate one program to a each pipe and execute that program, whenever data was written to the pipe.

What's new?
+Added: A primitive spooling mechanism to avoid execution of multiple copies of the same program (optional). +Added: A button to open eRedMan's new spooling folder in details view.
+Added: Hints on the settings page
+Added: Hints on the GS printer assistant page
*Changed: eRedMan does not create its files in the TEMP directory anymore but within its own directory created in the x:SPOOL path

Known problem: Jobs are handled out of order occasionally.
