SW: Virtualbox build released 20080101

January 01, 2008 by Paul Smedley

++ From the VOICE OS/2-eCS News Service ++

From: Paul Smedley

Hi All,

I've just added an OS/2 & eComStation build of Virtualbox to my site at

innotek VirtualBox is a family of powerful x86 virtualization products for enterprise as well as home use. Not only is VirtualBox an extremely feature rich, high performance product for enterprise customers, it is also the
only professional solution that is freely available as Open Source Software under the terms of the GNU General Public License (GPL).

Please note that whilst I'm interested in feedback on this build - I really don't have the time to debug problems - all I've done is compile the code that exists in the Virtualbox repository on OS/2.

Many thanks to Yoda for providing the readme.os2 - please read this for details on what works/doesn't and how to use Virtualbox/2

Please enjoy - and Happy New Year!
