Internet Assistent for eComStation V1.10 beta 4

February 15, 2003 by webmaster

Internet Assistant for eComStation beta 4 available

Please see the new beta version of the Internet Assistant,
the state-of-the-art configuration program for dial-in
programs coming with the forthcoming eComStation V1.1.
It can be downloaded from the file area accessible to all registered eComStation users.

People that do not have access to this file area can obtain a
copy from the Internet Assistant homepage:

In order to ensure functionality and quality of this program,
we would like you to take part in the testcase program launched Both success and error reports are highly welcome and important!

The current beta 4 includes the functionality that the Internet Assistant will have in the eComStation V1.1. Configurable dial-in programs are SLIPPM, the good old IBM "Dial other Internet provider" for serial communication by modem, as well as the much more current eCsCoNet/ISDNPM dialer, providing you also with ISDN and DSL connectivity. Moreover, mail accounts can be configured both for the Netscape 4.6 and the Mozilla V1.0x browsers.

If you want to test eCsCoNet/ISDNPM, please download the most
current version from the file area of the ISDNPM forum at

Until eComStation V1.1 is out, ISDNPM is shareware, therefore
if you don't own a license, you currently require a test key.
Please request one at no charge by sending email to,
stating your full name, country and location (city).

Please report your test results via the Bugtracker and zip and
attach the files

to the report. The only possible confidential data that you may want to remove or write over from/within these files may be your userid that you use for a certain provider - passwords are certainly stored nowhere!

Thank you very much for your valuable help !
