The roadmap includes information about two upcoming releases of the product, as well as two important applications for eComStation and OS/2 users. Those are the OpenOffice.org/2 and Serenity Virtual Station (SVISTA).
A joint project between SSI and InnoTek, a respected German ISV and services organization, has provided a version of SUN Microsystems OpenOffice.org which can support OS/2 and eComStation users. The package being offered by SSI includes prequisite software from InnoTek and the InnoTek Web Pack for OS/2. This software provides OS/2 and eComStation users with the best office suite features and Internet experience available, today.

This week the Early Support Program open to eComStation users will allow testing of SVISTA products written for Windows, Linux, and OS/2 as both guest and host platforms. A public beta of these products is planned for end of April, 2004.
The Roadmap describes a repackaging of the Application Pack, moving HOBLink X/11 Server to the Entry product and including SVISTA and OpenOffice.org in a new Application Pack, along with Lotus Smart Suite.
