eComStation 2.0 nearing completion!

We will be presenting the GA version of eComStation 2.0 at Warpstock Europe 2010 (see below) and hope it will meet the expectations of those that have been patiently waiting all this time!

Since the release of eComStation 1.2R close to 1000 bugs have been resolved and a lot of new features have been introduced, the most important being the support for modern hardware with ACPI, multi-core CPUs and the Panorama video driver. Other new features include the Bootable JFS filesystem, a major overhaul of the preboot menu, Samba network support including a neat GUI and the list goes on.

Warpstock Europe 2010

The 11th Warpstock Europe Conference will take place at the ERA Congress Centre in Trier, Germany, from May 14 to 16.
Some of the presentations that will be made are:

• Virtualization Solutions for OS/2 as Host and Guest Operating System
• DOSBOX, ScummVM & Co. - Fun & Games with OS/2
• Using XML Services for Web Application Development
• eComStation 2.x the next update cycle

eComStation 2.0 will be presented at Warpstock Europe, so do not miss this event!

Warpstock Corporation is pleased to announce the location and dates of the 2010 Warpstock Conference. This years event shall be held at the Waterloo University in Waterloo Ontario Canada August 5th through the 8th. The University of Waterloo, near Kitchener, has long had an OS/2 presence.
