Updated IBM Browser (2.0) and Java 1.3.1 Available

IBM has released Version 2.0 of the IBM branded browser. The English and German NLS copies are being posted to the Upgrade Protection section of the software download area of the eComStation web site.

IBM has updated the Java Features for the IBM OS/2 Warp Developer Kit, Java 2 Technology Edition, Version 1.3.1 consist of Java Web Start for OS/2 and the eXtensible Markup Language (XML) Parser for Java. Java Web Start for OS/2 allows full-featured Java 2 client applications to be launched through a Web browser. The XML Parser for Java provides Java applications with XML parsing and generation.

The Java update appears as the Java Features Kit in the Fixes-Features area of the site.
