GenINI version 1.41 released
July 07, 2012 by peter@pmoylan.org
A new version of the GenINI (freeware) INI file utilities is now available for download. It can be found at www.pmoylan.org/pages/os2/genini.html or ftp://ftp.pmoylan.org/software/genini1.41.zip or at Hobbes. Source code can also be found at any of these three locations - look for geninisrc1.41.zip.
GenINI is a package of two programs called DumpINI and LoadINI. DumpINI translates an OS/2 INI file into human-readable form, and LoadINI does the reverse operation. These two programs are essential for users of the mail programs Weasel and Major Major if they want to operate in "TNI mode". For everyone else, they are a way to back up INI files or to make their contents more readable.
The GenINI source code is potentially usable by other software developers, without charge, who want a way of storing configuration data.
